Who better to help The Monkees celebrate their 50th anniversary than Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo and Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard? Those are two of the musicians who wrote songs for the band’s first new album in 20 years, Good Times.

Surviving members Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork perform on the entire album, which brings together songs originally penned for the group in the 1960s along with newer work by Cuomo, Gibbard, XTC’s Andy Partridge and more. One song written by Neil Diamond, “Love to Love,” features Davy Jones with a vintage vocal.

“This is one of the most exciting Monkee projects I’ve been involved in for decades!” said Dolenz.

Alongside the new album, Dolenz and Tork will embark on a U.S. tour beginning May 18. Comprising 50 dates, including a homecoming show at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles on September 16, the duo will be on the road until the end of 2016.

Good Times drops June 10, and a vinyl edition will be available July 1.
